UPDATE -- Wednesday, Nov. 15:

The victim of this Oct. 23 shooting incident in Deltona, 18-year-old Stevie Knight (DOB 12/14/1998), was arrested Wednesday on a felony charge of possession of a weapon/ammo by a delinquent/felon.

Detectives arrested Knight after the shooting investigation led them to recover images of Knight holding an AR-15 rifle and a revolver. Because Knight was adjudicated as a juvenile delinquent from a prior felony arrest as a juvenile, he was not legally allowed to possess a firearm and ammunition.

The 18-year-old Deltona resident was arrested without incident Wednesday. No firearm was located during a search of his house. However, in a search of the Ford Focus that Knight was driving when he was shot, detectives and crime scene technicians recovered a magazine for an AR-15 rifle, loaded with nine Remington .223 caliber bullets.

The investigation of the shooting remains active and ongoing, and additional arrests of anyone involved in the incident are possible.
