DETECTIVES SEEKING ID OF SEXUAL BATTERY SUSPECT; COMPOSITE IMAGE RELEASED
Volusia County Sheriff’s Office detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a possible suspect in a sexual battery case reported in the Orange City area.
The suspect, pictured here in a composite FaceLogics image, was described by the victim as a white male, about 6’2” or 6’3”. He is believed to be between 40 and 44 years old and had a thick brown and gray beard.
The victim reported that she met the suspect on the Tinder dating app, and he picked her up the evening of Saturday, Oct. 14, in a small, silver or gray SUV, possibly a Kia Soul. She said he drove her to an area off French Avenue near Blue Spring State Park and sexually battered her.
