UPDATE: DECEASED MALE IDENTIFIED; NO SIGNS OF FOUL PLAY

Update: The deceased is Mark Guerin Jr., 35 (DOB 2/14/1984). He was pronounced dead on scene at 4:59 a.m. There were no signs of trauma or any immediate indications of foul play causing his death. Toxicology test results are pending to determine Guerin’s cause of death.

VCSO INVESTIGATING AFTER MAN FOUND DEAD ALONG LAKE HELEN OSTEEN ROAD IN DELTONA

Volusia County sheriff’s detectives are on the scene of a death investigation at 2308 Lake Helen Osteen Road, Deltona.

Deputies responded to that address after a call around 4:35 a.m. about an unresponsive adult male lying on the ground near the road.

The investigation is active and no other details are available for release at this time, but updates will be provided as they become available.
