Daytona Beach man charged with murder in stabbing of wife's boyfriend

Detectives are on scene of a stabbing at 1028 Gary Blvd., Daytona Beach. Deputies responded there around 2:50 p.m. for a report that one adult male subject stabbed another. The victim was transported to the hospital with critical life-threatening injuries. The suspect is in custody and being interviewed. Investigation active and additional details to follow.

CASE UPDATE: One man is dead and his killer is in custody following a stabbing at a Daytona Beach area home.
Deputies responded to 1028 Gary Blvd. around 2:50 p.m. A South Daytona police officer arrived on scene first and secured the suspect without incident.
The initial investigation indicates the suspect stabbed his wife's boyfriend on the front porch of their home. The suspect and his wife are still legally married, but had unofficially ended their relationship while continuing to live together. The wife's boyfriend had moved in earlier this year.
The investigation is continuing; additional information including charges and ID will be provided in a future update.

FINAL UPDATE: The defendant in this case, 32-year-old Austin Noel (DOB 6/29/1993), is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing homicide of Jacob R. Barrho, 34. Noel is in custody with no bond at the Volusia County Branch Jail.
