Port Orange Police Department detectives are investigating a vandalism which occurred to Horizon Elementary, located at 4751 Hidden Lake Dr. The damage was discovered this morning by a school employee before teachers and students returned from the holiday weekend. POPD investigators and representatives of Volusia County Schools are working in concert to determine the extent of the damage and process the scene for potential evidence. The Port Orange Police Department requests that anyone who has information pertaining to this incident to please call 386-506-5801.
