Armed Suspect Robs DeBary Kangaroo Store

ARMED SUSPECT ROBS DEBARY KANGAROO STORE

A man armed with a handgun robbed a Kangaroo gas station Tuesday night in DeBary, escaping with cash after pointing the gun at a store clerk.

The robbery happened around 9:22 p.m. at the store at 399 S. Charles R. Beall Blvd. The suspect was wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black shoes with white soles, a white mask, white gloves and black sunglasses. Upon entering the store, he immediately displayed the handgun and demanded money from the cash register. He escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

The suspect is believed to be between 5’6” and 5’9” tall and 230 to 250 pounds.
