Public's Help Sought Identifying Suspect Caught On Camera

YOUR HELP SOUGHT IDENTIFYING SUSPECT CAUGHT ON CAMERA

Sheriff’s investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying a car burglary suspect after someone was caught on video shortly after the break-in, using the victim’s stolen credit card at a Central Florida gas station.

The burglary occurred sometime before 9 a.m. Nov. 23, possibly overnight, at 156 Bradwick Circle in DeBary, where a man told deputies he came outside in the morning to find his and his wife’s vehicles burglarized. The man’s wallet was missing.

Later that day at a Speedway gas station in Winter Springs, someone used the victim’s credit card. Investigators pulled surveillance video from the store and identified that person as a man in a red 2004-era (approximate year) Dodge Durango seen buying cigarettes at the counter and talking to several customers at the gas pumps.

The same vehicle and suspect were also seen in private security footage obtained later from the Saxon Woods subdivision where the Nov. 23 burglary took place.

The suspect, described as a male with dark hair and a dark complexion, is believed to be about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build. He has a mustache, and in the attached video frames, he’s wearing what may be a Pittsburgh Steelers cap with a sticker still attached to the flat bill.
