SILVER ALERT ISSUED FOR MISSING DELTONA MAN

Volusia County sheriff’s investigators are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 64-year-old Deltona man who hasn’t been seen since Sunday morning.

A Silver Alert has been issued for Aaron P. Ward, who left his home on Venus Avenue around 11 a.m. Sunday after becoming impatient waiting for a ride from a family member. Because Mr. Ward has been showing signs of disorientation in recent months, he has not been driving without someone else accompanying him in the vehicle.

Ward left in a silver 2011 Kia minivan with Florida tag CWWM92. The van has a disabled parking sticker and a front license plate that features an image of a Rottweiler dog. He was wearing a Harley-Davidson T-shirt, blue jeans and a gray and black zip-up sweater. He is a white male, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 170 pounds with multiple tattoos on his forearms. He has a full white beard.

Anyone who spots Mr. Ward or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office via 9-1-1 or 386-248-1777.
