VCSO NEEDS PUBLIC’S HELP TO FIND 2 SUSPECTS IN ARMED ROBBERY

Volusia County sheriff’s detectives need the public’s help to locate two suspects wanted  for using a stun gun to rob a victim in a robbery at 117 Angeles Road, DeBary.

The robbery took place about 2 a.m. on March 17. Detectives say the suspects, Stephanie Campaign, 29 (DOB: 8/25/1988), of Deltona, and Jesse Adkins, 36, (DOB 7/21/1981), of Osteen  used a missing key to enter the home.

The pair stood outside the victim’s bedroom door, banging on it, and when the victim opened the door, Adkins rushed in, holding an active stun gun to the victim’s face. Adkins accused him of beating up someone and threatened to beat him in retaliation. The victim refuted the claims and then Adkins instead demanded to know where his "stash" was. The victim said out of fear he pulled out his wallet and Adkins took cash. His cell phone, a jar containing 3-4 grams of cannabis and a blue pocket knife were also taken.

Volusia County arrest warrants have been issued for both suspects: robbery with a weapon (Adkins) and principal to robbery with a weapon (Campaign). They each may be armed.

Anyone with information about this pair is asked to call the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office at (386) 248-1777, or contact Detective Tucker at ctucker@vcso.us. To remain anonymous and become eligible for a cash reward, call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-8477 (TIPS) or through the website/app at westopcrime com.
