VCSO NEEDS PUBLIC’S HELP TO FIND MISSING DELAND WOMAN, 64
Resident Considered Endangered, Left Home on Foot Around 6 p.m.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help to find a missing DeLand woman, 64, who left home tonight without her phone, wallet or medication.

Julie Melleah Beckwith of 244 Redge Blvd. last spoke to a friend around 3 p.m. Monday. Her family reported her missing just before 10 p.m. when they realized she disappeared from home as early as 6 p.m.

Beckwith (DOB 8/31/54) is a white female who takes regular medication. Air1 and deputies have been searching a nearby wooded area for her. Bloodhounds from Tomoka Correctional Institute are also being called in to help locate Beckwith.

Please be on the lookout for Becikwith. Anyone who locates her is asked to call 911 immediately. Thank you.
