2 DELTONA MEN ARRESTED ON CHILD PORN CHARGES

Sheriff’s detectives have arrested two Deltona men on warrants in unrelated cases and charged them each with possessing child pornography.

Richard Williams, 57 (DOB: 4/19/1962) of 730 Cloverleaf Blvd., was charged with 15 counts of possessing images/videos portraying sexual performance of a child. He was already in custody at the Volusia County Branch Jail on unrelated charges.

Detectives with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office’s Child Exploitation Unit (CEU) began investigating Williams in mid-April. During their investigation, they executed a search warrant at Williams’ home on May 22. Electronic images/videos were located depicting male and female children between ages 3 and 13 in sexually explicit situations.

Williams was already in custody May 22 on charges of possession of ammunition by a convicted state felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. The new child porn charges were added this week. He remains at the Branch Jail held on $300,000 bail.

In an unrelated case, Paul Bojczuk, 22, (DOB: 4/2/1997) of 801 S. Atmore Circle, Deltona, was arrested at home early Friday. He is charged with two counts of possessing photos portraying sexual performance by a child and violation of probation.

Detectives with the CEU began investigating in late May. During the investigation, detectives learned Bojczuk was on active felony probation for possession of child porn. Detectives found two electronic images in Bojczuk’s possession. The images portrayed female children between the ages of 7 and 12 in sexually explicit situations.

On Friday about 6 a.m., sheriff’s detectives executed a search warrant at Bojczuk’s home where he was arrested. He remains in custody at the jail on no bail allowed.

More charges are possible as detectives search for any additional potential victims of sexual exploitation. Anyone who may have been a victim of either of these suspects or any similar case is urged to call the Child Exploitation Unit at (386) 323-3574.
