Update #2: The shooter has been identified as Richard Murray, 58. Murray lived at the home and was the longtime boyfriend of victim Nancy Russo Eads, 56.

More information about this active investigation will be released when it becomes available.

Update #1: The victims are Nancy Russo Eads, 56, and her daughter Lisa Ferraro, 32. The identity of the shooter is not being released pending official notification of next of kin.

The investigation so far indicates Ms. Eads and Ms. Ferraro were shot and killed by Ms. Eads’ longtime boyfriend, who Ms. Eads wanted to evict from the house. The shooter then shot and killed himself.

3 DEAD IN APPARENT DOUBLE MURDER-SUICIDE IN DELTONA

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent double murder-suicide that was discovered Tuesday night during a well-being check at a Deltona home.

Deputies responded to 610 Nardello Drive, Deltona, around 9:33 p.m. after relatives of the residents requested a well-being check because they hadn’t heard from anyone there in several hours.

When deputies entered the house, they found two women and a man each deceased with gunshot wounds.

The identities of the deceased, all adults, are not available for release at this time but will be provided in an update Wednesday morning.

Also Wednesday morning, Sheriff Chitwood will be available for a news briefing at the scene around 5:15 a.m. – 5:30 a.m.
