2 ARRESTED IN RECENT ARMED ROBBERY AT DELTONA JEWELRY STORE
Detectives Searching for More Suspects

Sheriff Mike Chitwood and detectives announced today that two male suspects have been arrested and more are expected in a recent violent armed robbery in Deltona at Marsilvia Jewelry, 2031 Saxon Blvd., Deltona.

The robbery occurred Sept. 18 at 2:08 p.m. when three suspects rushed into the store. One suspect pistol-whipped an employee before the three smashed display cases and stole jewelry before fleeing in an unknown vehicle and direction.

James Casali, 55, (DOB 07/05/1964) and Jermiane Oliver, 29, (05/10/1990) were arrested for principal to armed robbery for their roles in the robbery at Marsilvia’s.

Casali was arrested Sept. 20 at his home on Belltower Avenue in Deltona by the Deltona Detectives Unit. He remains in custody at the Volusia County jail on $20,000 bail.

Oliver was arrested at his home in Sanford, with assistance from the U.S. Marshal’s Taskforce, FBI and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held at the Seminole County Jail on $110,000.

DELTONA JEWELRY STORE ROBBED BY 3 SUSPECTS WITH GUNS

Volusia County sheriff’s deputies and detectives are looking for three suspects who robbed a Deltona jewelry store this afternoon.

The robbery happened around 2:08 p.m. at Marsilvia Jewelry at 2031 Saxon Blvd. Three black male suspects arrived in a newer model gray Toyota Camry and rushed into the store, each of them armed. One of the suspects pistol-whipped a person in the store before smashing display cases and stealing jewelry.

Photos of the suspect vehicle are attached. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 911 or submit an anonymous tip via Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS or via the P3 Tips mobile app. Crime Stoppers tips may be eligible for a cash reward.
