PLEASE HELP VSO FIND MISSING TEEN, 17

Volusia sheriff’s deputies want everyone to be on the lookout for a teenage runaway who has made suicidal statements and may be in hanging out in downtown DeLand.

Johnathan Riggs, 17  (DOB 2/11/2003), a resident of the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, jumped a fence there Thursday morning and left the campus. The teen was last seen wearing a green shirt, black pants and short hair. He is white, weighs 140-150 pounds and is 5’10” to 6 feet tall.

Johnathan is likely in the company of a female juvenile friend who likes to frequent downtown DeLand. She recently shaved the hair on the sides of her head and her hair is hot pink.

Anyone with information about Johnathan is urged to call 911 concerning case # 20-3364. Please help us locate this missing teen. Thanks everyone.
