UPDATE:

William Eugene Hamilton, 86, who was the subject of a Silver Alert earlier Saturday, was found safe late Saturday night in Jacksonville.

VSO DEPUTIES SEARCHING FOR MISSING DEBARY MAN, 86 

A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a DeBary man who is missing and endangered and was last seen Saturday at 12:20 p.m.

William Eugene Hamilton, 86 (DOB 7/02/1933) left his home at 509 Quail Down Drive at 12:20 p.m. Saturday. He was driving a 2007 red Lexus 460 LS with Florida tag EKHL89.

Hamilton suffers from demention and was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt, khaki pants and black shoes. He is described as a white male, 5'8" tale, weighing 150 pounds and is balding, with blue eyes. He was expected to be driving toward Orange City, where he often visits businesses, but he has not returned home. 

Volusia sheriff's detectives are on the lookout for him. Anyone with information about Hamilton is urged to call 911. Thank you, everyone.
