VSO Detectives Investigate as Driveby Shooting Injures Man
Victim, 60, Shot in Leg by Unknown Shooter in Spring Hill Area

Volusia sheriff’s deputies are investigating a driveby shooting early Tuesday in which several shots were fired, injuring a homeless man in the 1000 block of South Clara Avenue.

The 60-year-old victim sustained two gunshot wounds to one lower leg. He was transported to Halifax Hospital for medical treatment for injuries not considered life-threatening.

In addition to gunshots injuring the male victim, detectives discovered two nearby homes and vehicles were also struck during the incident.
