Deltona man arrested for shooting at occupied vehicle

SHOOTING ARREST: Yeiriel Andres Tirado Diaz, 18, Deltona, has been charged for shooting at an occupied vehicle at a gas station Friday night.

Deputies responded to the shooting at 1380 Howland Blvd. (Circle K) around 6:25 p.m. Friday. The victim was at a gas pump when the suspect pulled into the parking lot and opened fire. The victim got in his car to flee the area along with his 2 passengers, and the suspect fired several more shots. Luckily, no one was injured.

The victim knew the suspect because they were best friends for several years, and were arrested together in 2024. The shooter was reportedly upset because the victim's charges were dropped and his were not.

Tirado Diaz is charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle (no bond), discharging a firearm from a vehicle ($50,000 bond), and 3 counts of aggravated assault with a firearm ($15,000 bond).
