Deltona Man Killed While Working Under SUV That Rolled Off Ramps

A 40-year-old man in Deltona lost his life Friday afternoon when an SUV he was working under rolled off its ramps and onto him.

Deputies responded to the call at a residence on Sanborn Lane around 2:09 p.m. Friday after 2 people returned to the house and found the subject unresponsive under the vehicle. Deltona Fire Rescue also responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.

No suspicious circumstances or signs of foul play were found in the initial death investigation. The incident appears to be a tragic accident.
