Deputy Injured When Vehicle Turns In Front Of His Motorcycle

A deputy is recovering from a crash today after a driver making a U-turn on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach pulled out in front of his motorcycle.

The deputy was eastbound on his agency motorcycle headed to the Speedway when the vehicle turned in front of him at Roosevelt Boulevard.

The deputy was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Very thankful his injuries weren’t worse. FHP responded to handle the crash investigation and issued a failure to yield citation to the motorist.
