Patrick Rose (DOB 4/12/1986) of Deltona is facing fraud charges and more after an investigation by our Financial Crimes Unit.

In November, Synchrony Bank contacted us about compromised Lowe’s credit accounts being used to make purchases in Central Florida.

The investigation led to Rose (pictured here in custody), who made repeated purchases using stolen credit accounts on the Lowe’s app.

We also determined Rose was dealing drugs from his home in Deltona and his “Fearles Muzik” recording studio in DeLand.

During search warrants at both locations, detectives recovered blank and stolen credit cards, blank, stolen and forged driver’s licenses, a printer for creating the forgeries, bank documents, a credit card re-encoder, and a ledger with personal information of identity theft victims from across the country.

Rose is charged with organized scheme to defraud, possession of counterfeit credit cards, using the ID of 10 or more more others without consent, possession of credit card making equipment, possession of suboxone, oxycodone, cannabis and paraphernalia, and 5 counts of possession of a firearm/ammunition by a convicted felon.

Also arrested at the Deltona house was Shamel Rose (DOB 10/3/1989) for trafficking in morphine, grand theft firearm, 2 counts of possession of a firearm/ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, and a warrant for possession of cocaine.

Several fraudulently purchased items were recovered during the investigation, and individuals listed in the ledger were contacted to confirm they were victims of identity theft.
