Video: 2 Teens Arrested For Written Threats To Kill

Leonardo Garcia-Caro, 17, and Erik Cornejo, 16, were both arrested this morning for making written threats to kill.

Overnight, deputies responded to multiple Fortify FL tips about comments made in a group chat. Leonardo said he was bringing an AK-47 to school. Erik said "let's kill" another student.

The defendants are both Taylor High School students. The subject of their threats goes to DeLand High School. Their dispute was over a female friend.

Deputies confirmed Leonardo has no access to an AK-47 or any other firearms, but the threats are still felonies under Florida law.
