Police in Ukraine are using ANDE DNA technology similar to VSO's to identify civilians killed by airstrikes or buried in mass graves, and to reunify children with family members.

There are reportedly about 10,000 Ukrainian police officers fighting on the front lines of the war today. It's estimated more than 1,000 of them have been killed since the war began. At the same time, Ukrainian police are actively conducting war crimes investigations while the war is ongoing.

Sheriff Chitwood presented a deputy's badge to Col. Bolvinov and his own sheriff's badge to Gen. Niebytov during today's visit, which was coordinated by the Police Executive Research Forum and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, which has pledged $800 million in humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
