V1 and D1 are brother and sister and live together as a family unit.  A verbal altercation turned physical when D1 hit V1 with a broom.  V1's injury was minor; D1 was arrested for the applicable offense and subsequently taken to VCBJ.

An ongoing dispute between V1 and S1 led to a verbal altercation.  The incident turned into a Simple Battery when S1 threw alcohol in V1's face. 

The incident was captured on video; attempts to locate S1 (who left the scene prior to LEO arrival) were met with negative results.  V1 wanted to press charges so a pass-on 707 was completed.

Deputies responded and found V1, a child, had exited the residence while D1 was supposed to be watching her. V1 was observed on a neighbor's surveillance camera in the roadway in a puddle with cars driving past her. D1 was contacted and arrested for child neglect.
