V1, V2 and D1 reside together as a family unit. V1, V2 and D1 returned home from a birthday party where V1 and D1 were drinking all day. V1 and D1 began to have a verbal altercation when V2 verbally interjected and asked D1 to stop screaming at V1. D1 started coming towards V2 in an aggressive manor at which point V1 tried to get in between them. D1 took a laptop that V2 was holding from her possession and threw it accross the room. D1 then grabbed V1 and slammed her on the ground, V2 tried to help V1 at which point D1 then pushed V2. V2 contacted law enforcement for assistance. Once D1 was made aware that law enforcement was responding he made arrangements to be picked up and left prior to law enforcement arrival. Deputies were able to make contact with D1 at 427 Oak St, Osteen. Deputies determined D1 to be the primary aggressor and found probable cause to charge D1 with battery and child abuse. D1 was subsequently transported to the VCBJ upon the completion of paperwork.
