S1 was arrested on 09/13/2024 for battery (DV) against V1. S1 was advised to have no contact with V1 per his pretrial release conditions.

On 09/16/204, S1 texted V1 multiple times, with each text becoming more aggressive than the next. Deputies attempted to locate S1 with negative results. A pass-on affidavit was completed and left for follow-up.

V1 and D1 got into a verbal argument over V1 missing days at school. D1 escalated the argument by punching V1 in the face with a closed fist.

During the altercation, it was determined that D1 was the primary aggressor and was placed under arrest for child abuse. D1 was transported to the Branch Jail for booking without incident.

V1 and D1 are in a relationship and reside together. They were in an altercation that escalated when D1 choked V1 by placing his hands around her throat and restricting her airway.

V1 was injured but refused medical attention. There were multiple witnesses to the incident. D1 was deemed the primary aggressor. D1 was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery by Strangulation.

V1 advised on Monday at approximately 1700 hours, she went to the Furniture Liquidation Store,  2820 Doyle Rd.

V1 stated while shopping in the store, she left her iPhone in the store. V1 was able to track her cellphone to a residence in Deltona, where the occupants refused to answer the door.

Deputies made contact with the homeowner, who advised they have not been to the Liquidation store. Deputies will conduct a follow-up investigation. This case is still active to patrol.

The Crime Suppression Team conducted surveillance regarding their active investigations.

CST conducted anti-theft operations in three locations within the city.

CST assisted in apprehending a DV Aggravated Battery subject who fled the location of the incident. Once the suspect was located, he actively resisted deputies, which resulted in additional charges.

V1 and D1 were in a verbal altercation over their relationship. D1 began to push V1 to the ground and put her in a chokehold, restricting her breathing, all while punching her in the face.

V1 was able to break D1's grip and run to a neighbor for help. D1 was apprehended after deputies searched the area for him. While securing D1, he spit, kicked and headbutted Deputy Nealis.

D1 also kicked Deputy Brough. D1 was taken into custody and charged accordingly. The watch commander and Director Quann were notified.

Deputies responded to multiple school threat-related calls regarding Heritage Middle School (Ref VSO Cases: 240020213, 240020224, 240020241). Investigations thus far revealed that D1 and D2 posted separate threats on social media. A thorough investigation was completed, resulting in D1 and D2 being located, interviewed, and ultimately admitting to the offenses. S1 was found to have been in possession of a firearm at a separate time; however, he did not make any threats. At the conclusion of the investigation, D1 and D2 were arrested and charged with Written Threats to Kill. A charging affidavit was filed against S1 regarding a minor in possession of a firearm.
