D1 is married to V1. D1 and V1 are the parents of V2 and reside together as a family unit. Upon returning home, D1, who was intoxicated, initiated a verbal disturbance with V1. V2 attempted to intervene, at which time D1 became increasingly agitated and escalated the incident to a physical confrontation. D1 forcefully shoved V1 in an attempt to confront V2. D1 then directed his aggression toward V2, yelling at him and repeatedly shoving him. V1 and V2 reported no injuries as a result of the incident. Several younger children were present during the disturbance. Director Quann and DCF were notified. A Domestic Violence Lethality Assessment was completed. D1 was subsequently taken into custody and transported to VCBJ.

A verbal argument ensued between V1 and D1. During the course of the argument, it turned physical when D1 grabbed V1 by the arm. Deputies observed contusions on V1 consistent with being battered. Attempts were made to locate D1; however, were met with negative results. A pass along affidavit was completed and D1 was arrested later in the evening.
