V1 and V2 reported that D1 arrived unannounced at his ex V2's residence and began knocking on the exterior windows. V1 and V2 exited the residence to confront D1; however, no subjects were observed on the property. While V1 was standing near the end of the driveway, a white PT Cruiser traveling eastbound on Grande Vista activated its high beam headlights and intentionally drove toward V1, nearly striking him. The vehicle then fled the area.

Sgt. Maxwell observed the PT Cruiser and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle then fled. The vehicle continued to flee before D1 bailed out behind a residence on Margarita Road and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

K9 units responded to the scene and conducted a track for D1. ALERT1 also responded. After an extensive search, D1 was later located walking in the surrounding area and was taken into custody without incident. D1 was arrested for Agg. Assault, Flee/Elude, Agg. Stalking (DV), DWLS, Violation of Pre-Trial (DV), and for his active warrant. The Watch Commander was notified and responded to this incident.

V1, a tow truck operator for C&S Towing, was contracted by the neighborhood HOA to remove D1's vehicle, which was parked in the grass right-of-way in violation of HOA rules. As V1 was securing the vehicle to the tow truck, D1 confronted him and attempted to drive the vehicle away while it remained connected to the tow truck but was unsuccessful. During the incident, V1 began recording D1's actions on his cellphone. D1 became irate and slapped the cellphone out of V1's hand, at which point a physical altercation ensued. No injuries were reported by either party. V1 advised he wished to pursue charges. D1 was placed under arrest and transported to VCBJ.
