V1 and D1 are in a relationship and engaged in a verbal argument over infidelity issues. During the argument D1 struck V1 in the common area of the park. A witness corroborated V1's initial statement. D1 was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

V1 was snorkeling in the middle of the river when he began experiencing difficulty staying above water. W1 and others attempted to assist but lost hold of V1, who then drifted farther upriver and went under. Recreational boaters assisted with searching the river. FWC launched a vessel to support search efforts. Air One responded for an aerial search. Watch Commander was notified. CID and Dive Team were contacted and responded. Members of the Dive Team investigated an area of concern on the river bottom detected by boat sonar. Around 8 p.m., V1's body was recovered from the river.

***Burglary To Business***

V1, the owner of I Shine Cleaning, reported on Wednesday that her business had been burglarized. She stated that on Sunday, March 1, 2026, her employees informed her that the safe had been taken from the business.  Inside the safe was approximately $5,000 in U.S. currency, along with miscellaneous jewelry valued at around $2,500 and various business gift certificates. The recovered video surveillance revealed that the burglary occurred on Sunday morning, March 1, 2026, at approximately 2:00 AM. Case status: Active.
