**DV / Pass-On**

V1 and S1 were inside a vehicle when a verbal altercation occurred. This turned physical when S1 grabbed V1 by the hair and slammed her head against the interior car window. S1 also threw V1's cell phone down the street rendering it inoperable and proceeded to throw a landscaping brick at V1's car windshield causing damage. S1 left the scene to an address in Sanford. S1 was uncooperative when attempts were made to contact him via PX.
A pass-on affidavit was completed charging S1 with felony criminal mischief and DV battery.

Deputies responded to investigate a domestic violence incident. V1 reported two incidents involving her live-in boyfriend, S1. V1 had injuries consistent with the reported incidents. V1 declined medical assistance. V1 provided a sworn statement, invoked Marsy's Law, and wished to pursue charges. S1 fled prior to law enforcement arrival; BOLO issued with negative results. Probable cause established for two counts of battery by strangulation and one count of simple battery. A pass-along affidavit was completed.

Deputies responded to a physical altercation between V1 and his father D1. Investigation revealed an argument escalated when D1 struck V1 on the left side of his neck, causing visible bruising and redness. V1 declined medical attention, charges, and written statements. W1 confirmed the altercation but did not provide a statement. Based on probable cause which supported domestic battery, D1 was arrested and transported to Volusia County Branch Jail without incident.

Pass-Along Affidavit/DV

V1 and S1 reside together as a family unit and have a child in common. V1 and S1 were in a verbal altercation when it turned physical when S1 struck, strangled, and pushed V1. V1 attempted to call 911 but S1 took the phone from V1 and refused to let her leave the residence. V1 was able to eventually escape the apartment and flagged down a neighbor who called on behalf of her. V1 refused all medical treatment but had multiple injuries to sustain her allegations. S1 fled prior to law enforcement arrival and was unable to be located. Deputies determined S1 was the primary aggressor and a pass-along affidavit was completed for false imprisonment, battery, battery by strangulation, and deprivation of contacting 911.
