Deputies located D1 sitting alongside of the business, with his cell phone plugged into an electrical socket that has a lock attached to it. Based on prior incidents, deputies were aware the store manager wants individuals arrested for the petit theft of electricity to stop the ongoing problem. After speaking with the manager again, D1 was taken into custody, and several credit cards were found in D1's backpack which did not belong to him. D1 was ultimately charged accordingly for the credit cards as well.

On 03/20/2026 at 0048 hours, Deputies responded to 249 Rosita Dr. for a fight. The live 911 call captured a female screaming. V1 reported D1 became physical after an argument, shoved him, poured alcohol on him, and took money from his wallet. V1 had a minor cheek laceration, and scene evidence supported his account. D1 was found on the kitchen floor with a leg injury, intoxicated, and provided inconsistent statements accusing V1. The residence showed signs of disturbance, and the money was located on the kitchen table. Based on evidence and D1's inconsistencies, she was identified as the primary aggressor, taken into custody, and transported by VCFR to Halifax, where a fractured right ankle was confirmed. V1 and D1 reside together and have a child in common. The Watch Commander was notified of this incident.

A verbal altercation began when D1 left his clothes laying around in the front yard of the residence. During the altercation, D1 became irate and began throwing large items at the vehicle V1 as sitting in. When V1 asked D1 to stop, D1 armed himself with a machete and told V1 he was going to cut her head of which put V1 in a well-founded fear for her life. D1 was taken into custody without incident.
