V1 was engaged in a verbal altercation with D1 when D1 walked up behind V1 armed with a pair of scissors. While D1 was holding the scissors above V1's head, several verbal threats were made to harm V1. These actions put V1 in fear for his safety. Deputies arrived and took the defendant into custody without incident.

V1, who is pregnant, was awoken by her dogs in the middle of the night and found S1 outside her residence yelling and causing a disturbance. When V1 exited the residence to tell S1 to leave, S1 became irate and shoved V1 to the ground. A charging affidavit was created and forwarded to ISS who eventually obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect. At this time, S1 has not been located.

V1 and D1 have been in a romantic relationship for 8 months. D1 lives in his van at the LOI. V1 came to visit D1. V1 confronted D1 about infidelity. D1 became upset and pushed V1 out of the van causing her to scrape her elbow and lower back. V1 refused medical attention. D1 was arrested. D1's CH revealed a prior conviction for battery which elevated this charge to a felony. D1 was also charged with DUI and possession cannabinoids. D1 was transported to VCBJ.
