D1 is V1's father. V1 came to D1's residence. D1 wanted to see his granddaughter who was inside of V1's vehicle that was parked in the drive. Due to D1's recent behavior V1 did not allow it, D1 became upset and pushed V1. D1 fled the scene and went to Pensacola, FL. An affidavit was completed.

Deputies responded to the LOI for a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with Justin Josaphat, who reported returning to the residence and observing his belongings disturbed and a white Lexus SUV, believed to be driven by his brother Jamal Josaphat, leaving the area. Justin's pretrial release conditions (case 2026 107560 MMDL) prohibit him from returning to the residence without law enforcement escort. Deputies confirmed both brothers' pretrial conditions were active.

Justin was located inside the residence upon deputies' arrival, constituting a violation of his pretrial release. He was arrested without incident and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.

On 05/23/2026 at approximately 1553 hours, Deputy Johnson responded to 217 Hammock Oak Cir., DeBary, for a disturbance. Contact was made with Justin Josaphat (O1) and witness Chelsea Corredor (W1). Investigation determined Jamal Josaphat (D1) entered the residence, after which Jamal departed in a white Lexus SUV. Chelsea and the homeowner, Myrlande Bebe (W2), confirmed Jamal's presence at the residence. Jamal's pretrial release conditions prohibit contact with Justin and prohibit him from being within 500 feet of Justin's residence. Jamal later denied involvement and refused to meet with law enforcement. A BOLO was issued. Probable cause was established for Jamal's arrest for violating pretrial release conditions. A Pass-On affidavit was completed.

V1 stepped in trying to prevent the removal of the camera, and D1 shoved V1 to the ground. V1 is 68 years of age. D1 was taken into custody without incident.
