S1 and S2 were observed on video surveillance moving 2 push carts full of scrap from the closed AA Auto Salvage business. Deputies, K9, Orange City PD, and AirOne responded, set up perimeter, and checked the area. The rear door to the business office was discovered unlocked and open. Several empty bins and large cut cables were also discovered across from the business entrance. S1 and S2 were unable to be located on scene or in the area. V1 conducted a preliminary inspection of the property and discovered approximately $15,000-$20,000 worth of copper, brass, and other types of metal wires and fittings stolen. No damage was noted. It is believed S1 and S2 gained entry by jumping the fence to the property. WC and On call ISS Sgt were notified. Crime Scene responded to assist. Case status: Active
