V1 and D1 are father and daughter. A verbal argument began while in the parking lot of the Circle K over finances. The argument became physical when D1 attempted to grab keys from V1 and caused small abrasions to his hand. D1 admitted to the offence and was witnessed by a customer pumping gas at the time of the incident.

S1 was walking East on Caracas Road while approaching the victim's residence. S1 noticed a basketball hoop in the front yard of V1's residence and decided to take the hoop from the yard. S1 continued walking east bound on Caracas Road out of the area, while dragging the basketball hoop. V1 eventually recovered the basketball hoop and the investigation is ongoing. An NC4 bulletin has been completed.
