V1 is D1's grandmother who live together as a single-family unit. V1, D1, W1, and W2, were engaged in a verbal argument that became physical when D1 shoved V1 with two hands causing her to fall to the ground.  V1 struck her head and both of her elbows on floor.  V1 refused medical treatment; however, she did sustain visible injuries to support her claims.  W1 and W2 confirmed V1's statements; therefore, D1 was charged accordingly and transported to the Volusia Family Resource Center.

D1 and V1 have a child in common and have lived together as a single-family unit in the past. After several accusations of different domestic violence incidents reported by parties on scene it was determined D1 struck V1 in the face at approximately 1200 hours on 08/13/2026.  The incident was witnessed by two others on scene.  D1 was charged accordingly and transported to the branch jail.

V1 and D1 are boyfriend and girlfriend who live together as a single-family unit.  V1 and D1 were arguing about V1 not having a job when D1 asked for V1 to leave the residence.  V1 was walking backwards outside away from D1 who was yelling at her.  D1 shoved V1 to the ground which was witnessed by W1.  D1 was charged accordingly and transported to the branch jail.

Deputies responded to Harbor Freight in reference to a retail theft. During the investigation, its determined D1 has been habitually stealing and pawning items throughout Orange City. Deputies eventually came into contact with D1 and placed him under arrest.

D1 and V1 are ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfirend and D1 relinquished all rights to the residence in late June. D1 and V1 had a brief argument at the front door due to him wanting entry to the residence. V1 attempted to deny D1 entry causing him to push her. V1 regained her footing and again attempted to deny D1 entry to the residence. D1 punched the door with enough force to open the door and break the frame. D1 again pushed V1 while entering the residence. While inside, D1 was advised by V1, V2, V3, and V4 to leave. D1 brandished a knife from his pocket and unfolded it displaying the blade down at his side causing V1, V2, V3, and V4 to fear D1 would harm one of them. D1 fled the residence in a black Subaru (FL tag RUQQ59) upon hearing them calling 9-1-1. D1 was located traveling south on CRB and apprehended following a felony stop at CRB/Debary Plantation. The incident was captured on video surveillance and corroborated the statements. D1 was arrested for simple battery-DV, burglary w/battery, aggravated assault w/deadly weapon x4, and criminal mischief. A DV lethal assessment was completed and two of the four qualified as a potentially lethal situation. Director Quann, DCF, and WC were notified.

V1 and D1 were in a romantic relationship and previously resided together as a family unit. D1 moved out 3 weeks prior today incident. D1 returned to the residence and had a confrontation with V1 on the carport. During this confrontation D1 escalated it to physical when he point his finger in V1's face touching her nose. V1 was in fear and her son, W1 came to her defense and was in a brief physical altercation with D1. D1 fled the scene and was later apprehended in Ormond Beach. V1 did not sustain any injuries. D1 was taken to 704 and medically cleared for his superficial injuries. A Domestic Violence Lethality Assessment was completed. D1 was transported to VCBJ.
