V1 and S1 are husband/wife and were in an argument over their pending divorce. S1 became upset due to V1 recording and slapped her hand causing the phone to fall and break. S1 threw the phone across the parking lot and left the area. Deputies attempted to contact S1 but were unsuccessful. S1 claimed to be out of town and would not return until Sunday. A BOLO was disseminated and S1's vehicle was entered into the hotlist. A DV lethality assessment was completed and V1 was advised of the potentially lethal situation. A 707 was completed for S1 for simple battery-DV and criminal mischief less than $1000. Case status: Active

V1 and D1 have been in a continuous romantic relationship for approximately 4 months. V1 and D1 got into an argument at D1's residence. V1 was irate and exited the house to get into her vehicle and leave so she could cool off. D1 bear-hugged V1 attempting to persuade V1 not to drive while she was upset. When V1 go into her vehicle D1 kicked the driver door but did not cause any damage. There were no injuries. V1 did not wish to pursue charges. D1 was arrested and transported to VCBJ. An On-view VOP of D1 was conducted. A Domestic Violence Lethality Assessment was completed.
