V1 and D1 were involved in a verbal altercation over some car keys. D1 entered the bedroom which V1 was in. V1 had her cell phone in her hands at which point D1 forcibly grabbed V1's hands to take the phone from her. V1 went next door and called 911 for assistance. V1 was not injured and had no visible injuries. It was determined there was probable cause to arrest D1 for DV Robbery by Sudden Snatching.

During the course of the investigation, V1 revealed that D1 had sent her text messages threatening to kill her and burn her house down with her inside. V1 had saved these text messages to show deputies. D1 was charged with written threats to kill and DWLS.
