***SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT***

T/L- 04/10/2026.  R1's dog (Luna) who is a 7-year-old Havanese that R1 states is worth approximately $3K, went missing from the LOI on 04/10/2026. On 05/01/2026, R1 was alerted that “Luna's” microchip had been scanned by a veterinary clinic in Daytona Beach. R1 contacted the clinic who stated someone came in with “Luna” saying that they found her (which resulted in the chip being scanned). The clinic refused to give R1 the information for the person who brought “Luna” in, so R1 called LEOs. Eastside CID contacted the clinic who stated they (the clinic) needed a subpoena before they release the information reference the person who found “Luna.” Also, this anonymous person who found “Luna” allegedly stated they were not going to give “Luna” back. Case active.
