DV/Pass Along/Juvenile 

V1 and S1 reside together as a family unit. Today while attending Deltona High School, V1 reported a DV incident in addition to ongoing sexual abuse with an extended time lapse. (See Case Number #260003877 for more information, this was handled by SRD Autrey.) 

V1 advised her sister was being disciplined by S1 for ongoing issues. When S1 grabbed a belt and started cornering V1's sister, V1 attempted to intervened at which point S1 initially pushed V1 back and then proceeded to grab V1 by the hair and back of the neck at which point he threw her to the ground and started to strike her with the belt. Deputies recovered video footage of the entire incident. Due to the previous allegations made towards S1 to include this incident, allegedly S1 was advised by his lawyer to flee town. Deputies were unable to make contact with S1 and a Pass Along Affidavit was completed for child abuse.

V1, V2 and D1 reside together as a family unit. D1 got his tablet taken away and made the decision to choke V1 out of anger but never cut off blood flow or circulation. When V2 tried to intervene he then tried to gouge V2's left eye. V1, V2 and D1 all cooroborated each others statements. D1 was found to be the primary aggresor and transported to the FRC after the completion of paperwork and Director Quann was notified.

V1 and D1 have been in an intimate relationship for approximately 6 weeks.

V1 and D1 were traveling north on US 1 crossing over the three bridges area in NSB when a verbal argument turned physical after V1 made an alleged racist comment. D1 punched V1 multiple times in the arm out of anger because of the comment made. V1 stated, over the phone, D1 lost control and began punching him in the arm and chest but did not wish to pursue any criminal charges. When asked what happened, V1 admittingly told deputies she got mad and punched him several times. V1 became very uncooperative and did not wish to assist deputies in this investigation. D1 was placed under arrest for Simple Battery dating violence.

S1 and V1 do not reside together but have a child in common.  S1 arrived at V1's residence and started a verbal argument with W1. V1 stepped in the middle of them and S1 began hitting him. V1 had injuries consistent with his and W1's statement. S1 fled the area prior to LEO's arrival. A pass-on affidavit was completed for the oncoming shift.

T/L- 02/21/2026.  V1 and S1 are husband/wife, living together at the LOI.  A verbal altercation turned physical when S1 threw a metal grill lid at him (V1).  The lid struck V1 in the head, causing a noticeable cut to the face.  S1 left the scene prior to LEO arrival, presumably to their other address in Brevard County.  Alcohol appears to be a factor in this event and V1 does not want to press charges.  A pass on 707 was completed for the applicable offense; however, due to lack of V1's cooperation, an arrest warrant may not be able to be obtained.

V1 was camping on Sand Point Island with a family friend and several other juveniles. V1 was up most of the night bow fishing. V1 was found face down in the water. Chest compressions were administered on V1 and he was brought to the shore by boat. Edgewater FD responded and V1 was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. CID along with Crime Scene also responded to the scene. Director Quann notified due to V1 being a juvenile. V1 appeared not to have any injuries or anything else suspicious. The scene was TOT to CID for further investigation.

R1 is an employee of V1 who was conducting a check of the property. Upon arrival, R1 observed the front automated lock box had been broken and the door had been pried open. Upon entering the home, R1 observed an Amana Kitchen stove and Frigidaire refrigerator which are normally within the residence to have been stolen and valued total at approximately $1500. Additionally, the interior door which leads from the home into the garage had been broken. R1 stated the last time someone inspected the residence was on 02/19/2026 at approximately 1310 hours which revealed the house to be in normal conditions. Deputies canvassed the area which yielded no one observing anything and no surveillance cameras captured the incident.
