D1 and V1 live together in an ongoing, continuous relationship. V1 reported to Edgewater PD that she was battered by D1 on SR44 somewhere between I-4 and SR 415. Contact was made with V1 who had a large contusion on her head. V1 advised she and D1 were returning home from Tampa when D1 punched her in the head during an argument. Contact was made with V1 who was unable to explain the injury. D1 placed under arrest for DV Simple Battery.

V1 was contacted by S1 who stated that he was on his way to the LOI (which is owned by V1) to kill the occupants and burn the building down. S1 arrived at the LOI which was occupied by V2 and V3 (S1's mother). He began banging on the door waking V2 and V3 while making threats to harm the occupants. S1 returned to his vehicle and drove it into the front of the residence causing moderate structural damage. S1 then fled the scene. V1 advised that he wished to pursue charges for the damage to the property (Estimated at between $10,000 for repairs and $200,000 for replacement of the structure). V2 and V3 wished to pursue charges. S1 is a transient and was unable to be located. A pass-on affidavit was completed for oncoming shifts.
