T/L- 06/13/2025.  V1 (who is 73 years old) was contacted by an unknown suspect portraying themselves to be from a credit card company and advising V1 had credit problems.  This resulted in V1 withdrawing cash from his bank, putting it into a box, and then meeting with an unknown male at a Circle K gas station in New Smyrna.  V1 subsequently gave the unknown male the box of money, told his (V1's) daughter what happened. VSO Financial Crimes Unit advised of the situation and will be conducting the follow up.
