***DEATH INVESTIGATION***

T/L- 04/05/2026.  The decedent, who was 69 years old and had both cardiac and mental health issues, died peacefully at the LOI.  The decedent had talked about suicide in the past and their (the decedent's) prescription pill count was off (i.e., a probable contributing factor for their death).  On call CID and CSU responded to aid in the investigation.  The ME took jurisdiction and the NOK was on scene and aware of the event.

***DOMESTIC VIOLENCE / CBA***

V1 and D1 are girlfriend/boyfriend, living in a shed together at the LOI as a family unit.  A verbal altercation turned physical when V1 claims that D1 threw a coffee mug at her (V1) and then wrestled her to the ground.  D1 was arrested for the applicable offense and taken to VCBJ.
