T/L- 11/24/2025.  V1 and D1 are girlfriend/boyfriend, with a child in common, and living together at the LOI as a family unit.  A verbal altercation turned physical when D1 snatched V1's cell phone from her (V1's) hand against her will.  D1 also has a prior conviction for battery, so he (D1) was arrested for that offense also.

V1 and D1 have been girlfriend/boyfriend for approximately four (4) years.  While at the LOI, V1 received a text message from D1 which stated that D1 was going to kill V1.  Also, D1 showed up to the LOI (in his vehicle), which prompted V1 to try and leave in her car.  V1 said D1 used his (D1's) vehicle to block her path, resulting in V1 driving her car into D1's vehicle (which was unoccupied by D1).  D1 was subsequently arrested for all offenses and taken to VCBJ.
