V1 reported that they were seated in the living room, away from D1, when D1 approached and threw a cup of water into V1's face. Deputies observed that V1's face was still wet upon arrival. D1 admitted to splashing the water on V1.

V1 was in a verbal argument with D1 over infidelity and him having HIV. V1 sought cover in the bedroom and D1 charged in after her. V1 attempted to shut the door as D1 grabbed her left wrist and tried to pull her out of the room causing redness to V1's left wrist and an abrasion above the elbow on the bicep consistent with her arm being pulled around the door.
