V1 reported that authorized reelection campaign signs displayed at the Oak Hill Flea Market were removed and vandalized. V1 also noted that the wooden frames supporting the signs were missing. Contact was made with the property owner (O1), who, due to symptoms consistent with early-onset Alzheimer's, was unable to recall whether he granted permission for the signs to be displayed or removed. V1 expressed a desire to pursue criminal charges. This case requires continued follow-up by patrol.

V1 works for Steel Masters and told an employee to leave a box of epoxy valued at $645 outside the business for an after-hours pickup. V1 stated the box went missing before the employee could retrieve it and they observed an unknown male pickup the box and leave on his scooter. Responding deputies were able to identify the male due to their prior law enforcement contacts and experience in the area. Deputies made contact with S1 who denied taking the epoxy and told deputies to leave the property. An affidavit was completed and filed with SAO.

Grand Theft Motor Vehicle

V1 advised that they could not recall the last time they checked on their trailer and discovered on 07-31-2026 that their 2006 Transhaul enclosed box trailer, Florida tag IV60KJ, valued at $10,000.00, was missing. Using investigative technology, a query was conducted by deputies which showed the trailer being towed by a white Dodge pickup displaying Florida tag WDX14, registered to D1. Deputies located D1, who was taken into custody on an active warrant and narcotics-related charges. W1 later reported personally observing D1 in possession of the trailer which was described in detail and provided a sworn written statement documenting the observation. D1 was charged with the grand theft of a motor vehicle. At the time of this notification, the trailer has not been located.
