D1 and V1 were in a verbal altercation outside. V1 was sitting on a bench and D1 flipped the bench over, causing V1 to fall. Deputy Murphy arrived on scene and observed D1 yelling and yanking the front door off the hinges.

D1 then advanced toward Deputy Murphy with the door over his head, putting Deputy Murphy in a well-founded fear he would be struck.

Deputy Murphy challenged D1 with his Taser 10 and gained compliance. D1 was taken into custody and charged. V1 left the scene prior to deputies’ arrival and it was learned she had an active warrant. She was unable to be located. W1 witnessed the entire incident.
